Sunday, Feb 5, @ 6:00 pm.  Family Night at VNV building.  A time for fun, food, and games.  Bring a snack or finger food.

 
Chili Cookoff

Sunday, Feb 19, following morning worship.  Fellowship Dinner with the best chili in town.  Winner will provide the chili for the Hospice Chili on Sat., Feb 25 at Athens High School.

Wednesday, Feb. 22 @ 6:00 pm at the VNV building we will have a Ash Wednesday Service.  They community is invited.

 
Focus 40

Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 29 the congregation will start a period of 40 days of fasting and prayer.  Special Wednesday evening services will be heald @ 6:00 pm.  Sunday morning services will also focus on fasting and prayer through Easter Sunday.

We are in our fifth month after the fire.  We received approval to extend the south end of our Fellowship hall 15 ft. to adjust for a lose of space due to increaseing the size of our restrooms.  Building should begin soon.
